Who we are…
Middle 8 Marketing Communications (M8MC) comprises of a group of experienced individuals, each specialising in their own area of Marketing.  The result is a high quality, full service, ‘one stop’ agency, providing you with a reactive, personable and cost-effective service offering.

At the helm, we have Clive Astin.  Clive has accrued a great deal of  ’hands-on’ experience since graduating from The University of Derby in 2001, after which he went straight into the work arena with retail giant, Westfield.  He has since managed campaigns for Hewlett Packard and Motorola to ‘namesdrop’ but a few and is in his comfort zone  working with all elements of the marketing mix.

The second ‘key player’ at M8MC is Debra “Visuals” Yates.  Debra is an award winning Illustrator and all-round high-level Graphic Designer.  To see some of her more artistic work, click here to visit her own illustration site.

Why we set up M8MC
The main reason was because we felt that there was a great deal of ambiguity in sourcing Marketing services.  Our main aim is to remove this ambiguity and present ourselves as a transparent company, offering you the most effective and cost efficient method of realising your objectives.

Middle 8 Marketing Communications?
The company name is inspired by the bridge, or break, in a musical composition, the Middle 8 is often the ‘attention grabbing’ section of a song, with the purpose of interrupting the repetition of verse/chorus/verse/chorus, adding new chord sequences and melody.  Marketing though? Similarly, establishing a solid Marketing approach will enable your organisation to ‘stand-out’ from the noise of competing messages and alternative products and services.
