Why The Rebrand?

M8MC’s rebrand is well overdue, that’s why.  The last year has been a really busy one for M8MC and we’ve been mainly focussed on carrying out work our ever increasing client-base.  The seed for rebranding was actually sewn during a business mentoring session with Patrick Welsh.  Damn him for continually making us face reality and strive for continual improvement.

What’s the rationale behind it then?  Branding needs to a: effectively communicate your brand values to your target groups.  b: needs to differentiate you through striking design, but c: at the some time has to position you firmly within your industry. 

We looked at leading companies in our industry, we read journals, reports and research at the University of Derby.  We referred to colours and their psychological meanings.  The latter is  the part we decided to totally ignore in this case.  We threw caution to the wind and listened to feedback from our peers, clients and other target groups.  We like this green!  It’s ‘now’ and its cool.  So there!
